The Thirtieth One 2/2/24-Grounhog Day

If you read these please start from the first day.

Sometimes I feel like we do this job everyday and it's like its the same day over and over and over again. Even though that's true, it's kind of a joke because- Happy Groundhog Day!!! This is like my 12th favorite holiday right behind Arbor Day. Isn't it weird how today used to be a sacred day only used to predict weather, but now it means a day that repeats itself? And it's all from a movie that came out in 1993. In case you're sitting on the edge of your seats wondering or don't have the internet or tv, Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow today, which predicts an early spring. And he's right almost 43% of the time, so plant your crops accordingly.

Moving tip-If you ever commit to doing a blog for a moving company don't say you'll do a “moving tip” everyday because I can tell you from experience I'm running out of tips and it's only been like 30 days. There's no way I can do it for another 320 days. The tips I mean, writing the blog is easy for me and I get to show off my artwork. 

The Artwork-I was really pleased with the way this one came out. I have a little place in my heart for Sonic. When I was about 12 or so I lived with my dad and he was going through it with his second divorce. I of course was just a selfish teenager and all I wanted for my birthday was the new Sega Genesis that came with the Sonic the Hedgehog game. When I walked in after school there was nothing there and I was kind of disappointed. But then I walked in my bedroom and what do you know-it's sitting right there. I think I'm just like most everyone else and did not realize how lucky I was. We were by no way close to the definition of what you would call “rich”, but somehow my dad got the bills paid and gave me memories like this. 

Day 30 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year. We even discussed my drawing last night and no one asked me.
