The Eighth One 1/12/24

If you read these please start from the very first day.

Another great day here at Swift Moves. Yeah there's about a million small problems to take care of, people are sick, trucks need tires ext. but everyday I get to do this I'm truly blessed. I moved here 25 years ago with noting but an H-E-B (people in Texas will know what that is) bag that contained like a shirt and a pair of socks. I slept on a friends couch for a year and slowly went from that to having a college degree, a great family and a nice company.  I had many doors slammed in my face but I had more hands extended to help me so this has given me a great appreciation for all I am lucky enough to have.

Today my work neighbor, a big company that sells products over the internet called Defender Shield, is moving out. This is just the first of four or five days that the move is going to take. Today we are moving all the offices, which there are like 13, and in two weeks we are moving the contents of the entire warehouse. The offices should hopefully be done today but that warehouse is going to be a challenge, probably 2-4 days. Love It!

Moving tip-If you get your friends and a truck to move anything over one room, make sure you get lots of aspirin, Ben-Gay, ice packs and join lots of FB groups to find new friends. Because after a full day of moving they are going to be hurting and secretly not like you. That's why you hire SWIFT MOVES!!!

I like the artwork. It was still in my infancy of my short lived art career so the proportions aren't exactly what I would have liked them to be and the lines weren't as straight as I would have liked. I still like this one though. The Adams Family was on pay per view the week I did these so I kind of just went with it. Hope you like it. The drawing tomorrow starts to turn the corned a little bit.

Day nine and not one person in my family has asked why I have not drawn anything after a year of drawing a picture a day for a year. My doughtier is 14 so I can understand her, she knows everything and could care less what I do, but the other two surprise me.
