The Fifteenth One 1/19/24

What a hectic morning at Swift Moves! I'm sure everyone here has had jobs where its like sometimes your hanging around like a normal day and then the next day is like everything is on fire but somehow in the bottom of the ocean and a hurricane and earthquake hit at the same time. That's how this morning was. One client had to delay their move because of closing issues then an employees was running late because of a verified wreck on the highway, one employee was in the hospital with his Mother (verified) and a few other things that made everyone's job interesting for about two hours this morning. But I the end WE LOVE IT! It makes our job fun and interesting plus we feel like we actually accomplished something at the end of the day. And that what separates us from a lot of other companies. Problems are going to arise, stuff is going to happen. But myself and my office crew have worked in the moving industry so long we can pretty much handle anything that comes our way.

Moving Tip-Before the movers leave, sit on your bed and make sure it is sturdy and put together the correct way. Sometimes screws get lost or beds get re-assembled the wrong way and when you go to lie down after a long day of of moving, the bed collapses. I've seen it happen. Its not on purpose or even incompetence, its just one of those things. So make sure the bed is put together to your satisfaction before the movers leave.

The Artwork-"Yabba Dabba Doo". I loved drawing this one because I watched the Flintstones growing up all the time, I even liked the episodes where the little green alien guy was on there,  I actually thought those were the best episodes. But once again the drawing could use some work, the coloring could be better and the outline could be more defined. I was still only working with eight map pencil colors, but I still think this came out ok for only the 14th drawing I ever did in my entire life. The feet will always drive me crazy.

Day 16 and not a peep from anyone in my family as to why I have not drawn one thing in more than two weeks.
