About Jeremy Thompson — Owner & Founder

Hi, I'm Jeremy Thompson, owner of Swift Moves LLC — St. Petersburg's most trusted family-owned moving company. This is my wife Lindsey and our two kids Madelynn and Max.


I moved to Florida in 1998 and attended USF in St. Petersburg. While studying business management I worked my way up from mover to driver to management at a local moving company.


That experience taught me one thing — always put the customer first. So in January 2016 I founded Swift Moves LLC and haven't looked back since.


Today we proudly serve St. Petersburg, Tampa, Clearwater, Largo, Bradenton, Sarasota and all of Florida with residential, commercial, local, long distance moving, packing, junk removal and storage.

Why Move With Us

Our movers are trained, respectful, clean-cut and will handle your belongings with care. They are all full-time employees- NO DAY LABORERS!!! 

 

All of our trucks are equipped with all the necessities such as blankets, dollies, pads, straps, shrinkwrap and much more to make sure all of your items arrive safely in the new location. We charge a flat hourly rate that is accurate down to the next quarter hour, so if we go 15 minutes into the next hour we don’t charge you for a full hour. 

 

Since we are locally owned and operated our pricing is much less when compared to the larger moving companies. We don’t have to pay franchise fees, so we are able to pay our clean cut movers more (and get quality employees) while passing the savings onto our loyal customers.

  • The Tim’s were great! Both movers names were Tim and they did a great job. We were moving from a 3 story Townhouse which meant a lot of stairs and turns. The Tim’s handled our stuff with care and it all got to our new place intact and pretty fast for having to maneuver the stairs.
