The 299th One The Internet Is Confusing 11/29/24

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a free framed copy.

The internet is so weird. I remember about 25 years ago when I first heard of the internet I thought to myself “Oh cool, information will be at everyone's fingertips, we can communicate with each other, everyone will have facts at their beach and call and the world will be a better place for it”. I'm not sure if I was correct or not. Like to think the world is a better place. One thing I have noticed is videos=great world, comment section=bad world. If I watch lots of videos on whatever app or website it's all about how the content creators are doing great things. Whether it be doing three backflips on a bike, a nine year old who is a great drummer or someone surprising their brother after being gone for two years-videos show the best of people all over the entire world doing amazing things. Then go to any news website or anywhere with a comment section and it's almost the opposite, Haters, haters, haters. People who can hide behind a keyboard seem to be ok with talking bad or being negative about whatever. It doesn't matter what the situation is, there always seems to be a negative nelly. This morning I saw a post with someone asking for a jump for their car and the second comment down on the post is someone saying how they should be ashamed of themselves and all this other stuff. You get the picture. So to recap-videos seem to bring out humanities best and comments seem to bring out humanities worse.

The Artwork-Of everything I drew I think this one is probably the most unproportional to the original character. It's Anna from Frozen. I like her dress and her braids are fleek but I somehow drew her face way too big for her body. There's something off about it. But I definitely love her rosy cheeks, eyebrows and green eyes. I hope you enjoy it!

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 11/29/24 is $168.
