Tetris-On ESPN?

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. I watched ESPN 8 the other day for thirty minutes of people playing Tetris. Not football or soccer or hockey but Tetris. I flipped to the channel and there it was. I would not think I would stay tuned in but it was mesmerizing. As a mover, part of my job was to make all the furniture fit neatly in the truck. Sometimes we would have to “play Tetris” and to get it all to fit in the truck. Maybe this is what made me stare at the television for so long and watch two 12 year old kids play this game. They were good too. I think they were up to like 250 lines, which I think is not for that game. 

It's just strange to me that as a 40 something year old man who playedTetris in like 35 years ago is now watching the world wide championship on a major television network.  And they weren't even all in the same building, they were all like on zoom playing against one another. This is not a good or bad thing (I think it's actually good) just different/ Oh well, it's just me mumbling like an old man. Get off my lawn!

The Artwork-Another in my Christmas theme of drawings-Its Sonic the Hedgehog dressed as Santa. I think he came out great. I absolutely love the green color of his eyes. His side smile and the way he is holding his arms give him a very mischievous look. The shoes and socks came out looking great and I like the little tail that's there but for some reason still inside his pants. I guess it's not a long tail. I think  the colors on this entire picture are solid.  I hope you enjoy it! 

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win!
