The Forty Eighth One 1/20/24

If you read these please start from the first day.

What  a day. Sometimes you think it's going to be slow then the calls just keep rolling in and you don't get two minutes to think. This is not a good thing-this is a great thing! Most people don't realize how much a business puts into getting the actual business. Meeting after meeting, countless phone calls, doing stupid blogs so you can hopefully get one more place up on Google, it never stops. We are in the service industry like plumbers or electricians but it might be different for places like restaurants or convenience stores, I dont know Ive never owned one of those places. There's like 15 different ways we market. I can't go into too much detail because I don't want my competitors to know but I do know it ain't cheap! Anyone who owns a business will tell you it's soooo much work but what makes it great is a day like today when everyone who calls books a job and you know you can keep the lights on for another month and all the guys will have plenty of hours. This makes up for the days when no one calls and I think I'm going to go out of business next week. I promise you all business owners go through this same thing. One day you think you're going to retire next year then the next day reality hits you in the face and I think I'm going to have to get a second job next week.  It's what I signed up for, I wouldn't change it for anything in the world (except a lot of money!)

The Artwork-I'm not thrilled with this one. I love Family Guy but the proportions were off on this one. His stomach is not what it should be and the eyes are off. I like his collar and tag though. 

Day 49 and not a word from my family as to why I abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year. 

About 24 hours left to claim the free $50 prize that I offered a few days ago.
