Why Am I Making So Many Changes?

If you read these please start from the first day or not whatever-it's your life.

I've been working on the elliptical for the last week or so. I also mentioned when I first started this workout challenge to myself how I was eating like 5 Snickers Ice Cream Bars a night. I've totally cut that out. So in the last week I've worked up to 19 minutes a night on the elliptical and no ice cream bars. These are pretty big changes. Not to mention I also write at least a paragraph or two a day with this blog. Why do I do these things? Change. I strongly believe the only constant in life is change. I ask people all the time “are you where you want to be? Are you a millionaire?” Most of the time they say no and my only response is “then you're doing something wrong and you need to change”. Not that I'm the expert on anything, I'm not a millionaire but I do try and I do make changes.  But the changes for me are different for different reasons. Cutting out the snickers and the elliptical are for my health. If I ever do become a millionaire I want to have time to enjoy it. And I want to live as long as possible to see my children grow old themselves. The writing of the blog everyday is to hopefully improve my company's standing on Google so we can hopefully get more business and help me become a millionaire. Will it work? I doubt it. The 350 drawings I did last year was for my own enjoyment and was a challenge to myself. Doing those drawings last year that I put out on this blog once a day brought me a sense of self satisfaction everyday that can't be purchased. Like “I did that”, I taught myself how to draw and every night when I was finished with the drawings I got like this rush of endorphins that made it all worth it. It was kind of like a high I got from running those 19 minutes last night on the elliptical.

Change is good, self change is great. 

The Artwork-I have no idea who this is. After 100 drawings I had to begin to get creative on who to draw, my kids say they know where he is from.  There's still a lot of great ones coming up so don't tune out too soon. But this gut is a goober, Three teeth, doesn't look in too good of shape but I like his hat and his thumbs out. I enjoyed drawing him.

Day eight of the treadmill-I went from 12 minutes to 19 minutes last night. If my ten year old can do it, I surely can do it. But now I can't go back.  I must run at least 20 minutes today until I get to a constant 60 minutes every night.
